Adobe

At James Madison University, I participated in MKTG 331 (Creative Marketing Design: Digital Vector Techniques) and MKTG 332 (Creative Marketing Design: Visual Editing and Document Styling). Throughout these combined courses got certifications in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. In addition, I worked with a partner on a Rebranding Project for Blue Ridge CASA's Mustaches for Kids event. I learned effective design techniques, copywriting, how to create mockups, how to tailor designs to specific audiences, typography and color scheme choices, and many other elements of design.

Rebranding Project

My partner and I worked together to develop a rebrand for Blue Ridge CASA’s Mustaches for Kids campaign. We created a cohesive visual identity system, including a redesigned logo, color palette, and typography that aligned with CASA’s mission while keeping the event distinct. To support the campaign, we developed marketing collateral such as flyers, business cards, branded merchandise, and digital assets for social media, landing pages, and ads. Altogether, the project strengthened community engagement, boosted event visibility, and provided CASA with tools to expand donor and volunteer support.
